We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Frederick Lamar Bender of New Bern, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Michael (Carridy) and Brett; his grandchildren, Teagan and Boss; his brothers, Tom (Robin) and Tim (Linda); and his caregiver Donna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of Flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Sudan Shriners Children's Hospital Fund, P.O. Drawer 12828, New Bern, NC 28561.
