She was predeceased by: her parents, George Haupt and Mildred Haupt; her husband Colonel David G. Jones; and her siblings, Charlotte Hazlett, Charles, Roy and Carus Haupt.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Jones, Leslie Green of New Bern, Laura Poland of Norfolk, Virginia and Peter Jones (Alberta) of Wenatchee, Washington.; her brother Lee Haupt (Judy) of Mt. Sydney, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Andrew Nusbaum, Cara Oster, Emily Nusbaum, Suzanne Gigliello, Paul Gigliello, David Jones, Jennifer Jones and Bruce Jones; and her great grandchildren, Allen Edelman, Landon Schendera, Teddy Jones, Eloise Jones, Zoe Oster and Emmett Oster.
