He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leah Chakler and Samuel Sher; his brothers, Bernard, Fred and Alvin; his wife Lois Perel of New Bern, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Patti, Sue Sher, Julie (Brett Royce) and Ashley (Brian Cannon).
