It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellsworth Baily Gosnell Jr. of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dr. Cleason Gosnell and Dr. Albert Gosnell. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gosnell; his daughters, Beth Gosnell of New Bern and Dr. Ellen Shemancik; his son-in-law John of Fort Myers, Fla.; and his grandson Gregory Shemancik. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
