It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Atha (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, O. H. Sears and Sallie Sears of Marionville; and her brother David Sears of Springfield, Missouri.. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Ray Atha May; her children, Julie Williams of Wichita and Matthew Atha (Monica) of New Bern; her grandchildren, Michael Conn (Xandra) of Wichita, Kansas, Christie Matlock (Ben) of Ada, Zeke and Zack Atha of New Bern; and her siblings, Sallie Ameling (Jerry) of Lee's Summit, MO and Joe Sears (Glenise) of New Oxford, PA.. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Kingswood After School Ministry at Garber Church.
