With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Vann Stephenson Sr. (New Bern, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 81. He is survived by: his sister Delores Stephenson Ballard of Charlotte, NC.; his wife Patricia Eubanks Stephenson; his children, Edward Vann Stephenson Jr. (Amy) of Greenville, NC, John Herbert Stephenson of Wilmington, NC and April Stephenson Totten (Archie) of Carroll, OH.; his grandchildren, Haley Winslow-Stephenson (Walker), Conrad Totten IV, Edward Stephenson, Brandon Totten and Garrett Totten; and also Rummikub.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Craven County Hospice.
