He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Guider and Geraldine Guider; and his sister Connie Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Pierce Guider; his daughter Brandi Purvis (Will) of Rockledge, Florida; his stepdaughter Hillary Pierce of Marfa, Texas; his grandchildren, Ben and Megan Purvis; and his sister Carol Berry (Lester). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
