She was predeceased by: her husband Sindney Swarts. She is survived by: her daughter Tammie Rice (Kreg) of Houston, Texas; her grandson P. Wade Tyndall, II (Abigail); her great grandchildren, Luca of Elizabeth City, Freya of Elizabeth City and Ada of Elizabeth City; and her sisters, Kay Woolston (Dean) of Bayboro and Jo Franks (Sterling) of Vanceboro.
