With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Lee Swindell of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Swindell and Beatrice Swindell; and his sister Linda Hall. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Swindell Whitehurst (John), Mary Swindell Collins (David) and Fay Swindell Jarman (Jerry); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Collins (Crystal), Danny Gilbert (Heather), Alex Jarman, Brian Whitehurst, Krista Jarman (Tyler) and Janet Whitehurst.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children or to one's favorite charity.
