She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin "Eddie" Wheeler; her parents, Jeanne Benard and Jacques Benard; and her brother Jacques Benard. She is survived by: her children, Nanette DeSanto (Richard), Thomas (Janerie) and Lawrence Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Mallory Wheeler and Danielle Hurley (John).
