He is survived by: his adoptive mother Julia McGriff; his grandmother Joyce Marie Best of Goldsboro, NC; and his siblings, Johnny Ward of New Bern, NC, Joann Suggs of Cove City, NC, Serita Campbell of Milwaukee, WI, LaJasima Roberts of Goldsboro, NC. and LaTasha Best of Goldsboro, NC..
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church-Rocky Run (5325 U. S. Hwy 17 S, New Bern, NC 28562). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the New Bern Memorial Cemetery (900 Chelsea Rd, Trent Woods, NC 28560).
