It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Talbert of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallace Talbert, Sr. and Elisabeth Sullivan Talbert; and his brother John W. Talbert Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Bryna Coonin of New Bern, N. C.; his sister Elaine Talbert (Ken Gruber) of Greensboro, N. C.; and his sister-in-law Katherine Talbert.
We extend a special thanks to the amazing staff of HomePlace of New Bern for their dedicated and loving care of David during the last two years of his life, keeping him safe and comfortable through two hurricane evacuations and a pandemic.
