He was predeceased by: his former wife Deniece Huszar Ault of Wheeling. He is survived by: his daughter Madison Mackenzie Garbark of New Bern, NC; his grandchildren, Rodney and Rhea; his son David Christian Garbark, Jr.; his parents, Nathaniel Michael Garbark of Charlotte, NC and Ann Edgerton (James Edgerton) of New Bern, NC; his siblings, Nathaniel Michael Garbark III (Katie Garbark) of Mint Hill, NC and Catherine Garbark Jackson (Garland Jackson, Jr.) of Davidson, NC; and his nieces, Savannah Garbark, Elizabeth Garbark, Gracie Jackson, Bethany Jackson and Ella Jackson.
