He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude W. Middleton and B. Elizabeth "Betty" Middleton; and his wife Marilyn Wright. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Rhoton of New Bern, NC and Alan Middleton of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Kimberly (Columbia, MD) and Robert of Richmond, VA; and his great grandchild Alexis (Columbia, MD).
