It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Richter (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 4, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sr. Richter and Regina Richter (Nurney); and his siblings, Harry, Francis Richter, Jean McGrath, Kate Vigliotti and Regina "Babe" Andrews.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Dinnar Richter; his children, Dennis Richter (Christine) of Wilmington, VT, Karyn Jones (Richard) of New Bern, NC, Charles Richter (Molly) of Wakefield, MA and Christopher Richter of New Bern, NC.; his granddaughter Crystal Bell (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Braelyn of South Newfane, VT, Zachary, Adam, Charlie and Katie Richter; and his sister Mildred Downing of Tequesta, FL.. He is also survived by his children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
