He was predeceased by: his sisters, Linda Brock, Pamela Jean Turnage and Linda Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Don Smith and Cheryl Sullivan.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Turnage; his daughter Dorothy Denise Turnage; his siblings, Jeffery Turnage (Marie) and Claudia Ives (Tommy); his brothers-in-law, Jim Sullivan and Robert Brock; and his father-in-law Col. LeRoy Barton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners Crippled Children's fund.
