She was predeceased by: her parents, John Townsend and Mary Townsend; her husband Eugene Viola of New Bern, NC; and her siblings, John Townsend (Gigi), Betty Woodward (Jesse) and Peggy Morganti (Babe).
She is survived by: her sons, Zenio Viola and Rody Viola; her grandsons, Sean Viola (McKenzie) of Toccoa, GA, Kyle Viola of Greenville, NC and Ian Viola of Portland, OR; and her great grandchild Will Viola. She is also survived by numerous loving family members and close friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (3005 Country Club Rd, New Bern, NC 28562). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Holy Souls Cemetery.
