It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carmine Buscemi (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 69, on February 4, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Buscemi and Nancy Buscemi; his brother Peter; and his friend Walter "Wally" Bozenko. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Buscemi; his son Eric Buscemi (Laurie); his grandchildren, Lily and Ryan; his siblings, Margaret and Gregory (Maureen); his brother-in-law James (Maureen); his nieces and nephews, Rose, Angela, Dawn, Brian and Jonathan; his brother Greg; and his friend Ed White.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Bern Civitan ramp building fund, a charitable service my father was a member of that builds ramps to make homes wheelchair accessible for the elderly and infirm.
