It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Harrison (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Bridgeton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rowe and Louise Rowe; and her sister Minnie R. Beam. She is survived by: her children, Cecil W. Harrison, Jr. (Amelia) of Raleigh and Karen H. Calhoun (Larry) of Raleigh; her grandsons, Webster Harrison (Elizabeth) of Raleigh and Andrew Harrison (Julie) of Zionsville; her great grandchildren, Webb, Manly, Hayden and Hazel; and her siblings, Andrew Rowe (Eva) of Milledgeville, Pat Morgan (Whit) of New Bern and Bea Johnson of Chattanooga.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Craven County Hospice or to West New Bern Presbyterian Church.
