She was predeceased by: her parents, William Beeker and Mabel Beeker; her daughter Regina Apperson; and her brother Bill Beeker. She is survived by: her husband Richard Smyer; her daughter Jody Guthrie; her stepchildren, Debra Lee Hill, Richard Smyer Jr. and Karen Harper; and her siblings, Kenneth Becker, Nancy Overcash and Martha Shoemaker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Temple Baptist Church Capital Fund.
