She was predeceased by: her father Luther Edward Gaskins; her husband Odie "Bill" Everington; and her brother Luther Earl Gaskins. She is survived by: her son William "Billy" Everington (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Robbie King (Lori), Christy Woodruff (Daryl) and Toni Williams; her great grandchildren, Jessica, Drew (Heather), Anna, Shea, Autumn, Anthony and Joseph; her great great grandchildren, Jackson and Wyatt; and her caregivers, Doris, Terrie and Mary. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made in Bessie's name to Highland Park Christian Church or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
