We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2022, at the age of 32, Benjamin Charles Puryear of New Bern, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his son Ben; his parents, Wayne Watts and Robin Watts of New Bern; his siblings, Kalyn Sanders of Ft. Mill, SC and Will Adkins of Youngsville; his grandparents, Fay Whitfield of Hurdle Mills, NC and Charles Herbert "C. H." Puryear of Roxboro, NC; his nephews, Connor, Garrett, Leo and Joules; and his niece Sadrean.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Ben's name to the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina, 3733 National Dr Suite 115, Raleigh, NC 27612 or online at https://www.bianc.net.
