She is survived by: her children, Ricky Reed of Richmond and Jennifer Sherard; her mother Lillie Mae Cox of New Bern; her close friend Ulysses McCray; and her siblings, Timothy Cox of Marietta, LA, Bobby Cox, William Cox, Pam Day of Cleveland, Evelyn Carmon, Sharon Johnson, Hampton and Katrina Harrison. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
