With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Louise Tomlinson (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Flowers and Martha Louise Barnes Flowers; her husband John Harris Tomlinson; her stepdaughter Margaret Morgan; her sons-in-law, Everett Morgan and O. J. Mason Gray; her daughter Martha Louise Barber; her son-in-law Jerry R. Barber; her son John Julian Tomlinson; and her son-in-law Rufus Byron Ingram.
She is survived by: her grandsons, John Jr. and Fred; her children, Janet Ingram, Peggy Gray (Ralph Fuller) and Fred Tomlinson (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Martha Barber Weaver (Craig), Judy Suitt (Chett), Michael Gray (Sheila), Tina Glover (Jack) and Wendy Curlew (Mike). She is also survived by great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverdale United Methodist Church, where Annie was a member for over 70 years.
