She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Vorise Midgette (Anne) of Kinston; her grandson Darnell Midgette (Pamela) of Long Island; her brothers, Otis Squires, Sr. of Hampton, James Squires (Helen) of South Dakota and Fred Squires of New Jersey; and her niece Dr. Wanda Dawson. She was also cherished by three Great-Grandsons; four Great-Great Grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church (639 Pennsylvania Ave, Vandemere, NC 28587). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
