We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2023, at the age of 80, Ann Marie (Hanke) Alaimo of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul A. Hanke and Marcella F. Hanke (Crane); her husband John J. Alaimo, Jr. of Michael's Church; her brother Paul F. Hanke; and her brothers-in-law, James V. Alaimo and Joseph E. Alaimo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine A. Stickney (Gerald) of New Bern and Mary Beth Kennedy (Craig) of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Timothy, Mary Elizabeth Stickney, John and James Kennedy; her brother Robert W. Hanke (Maria) of Agawam; and her sisters-in-law, Carol A. Hanke of Dracut, Catherine Alaimo, Framingham, Faith-Mary Alaimo of Somers, CT and Elizabeth Alaimo of Wilmington. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, c/o St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.
