Smith (New Bern, North Carolina), born in Fort Stockton, Texas, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Bustamante and Josefina Bustamante; her siblings, Ernie, Johnny and Fanny; and her son Oscar Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Richard "Smitty"; her sister Jessie; and her children, Cecilia, Suzanne, Victor and Ricardo. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
