She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Derrick Jennett; her husband Charles C. Jennett, Jr.; her sons, Derek Jennett of New Bern, Eric Jennett of New Bern, Omar Jennett of New Bern and Sergio Scott of New Bern; and her sisters, Lorraine Jenkins of New Bern and Loretta Copeland of New Bern. She was also cherished by four grandchildren.
