Alfred R. Seamster Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2024, at the age of 80, Alfred R. Seamster Sr. of New Bern, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Alfred farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alfred is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Seamster and Pattie Clark Seamster. He is survived by: his wife Gail Olivia Gatlin; his children, Russ Seamster of New Bern and Pamela J. Fitzwater (Jason) of Dallas, Texas; and his stepbrother Hiram Carmichael III of Wisconsin. He is also survived by two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
