He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Roach; his son Albert Franklin "Frank" Roach, Jr.; his grandson Jeffrey "Jeff" Michael Roach; and his sister Joyce Rice. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Roach (Sarah Joyce), Daniel Scott Roach (Sue) and Patricia Roach Mills (Dan); his sisters, Ruth Roach Smith and Clara Alice Banks (Tommy); his brother-in-law George Bennett; and his grandchildren, Dana Smith (Jon), Jason Roach (Tara), Greg Roach (Ellie), Heather Jones (Bryan) and Josh Mills (Jamie). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Reelsboro Christian Church, PO Box 255, Grantsboro, NC 28529.
