She is survived by: her mother Emma King Peterson of Vanceboro, NC; her children, Karla Yates of New Bern, NC, Terrance Simmons of Australia and Antonio Samuel Blount of New Bern, NC; and her siblings, Clinton Peterson of Vanceboro, NC, Leo Peterson of Boston, MA, Willie Mae Moore of Dover, NC, Doris Richardson of Havelock, NC, Gloria Peterson of Vanceboro, NC and Barbara Burk of Boston, MA.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
