It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Micah Wendell Carter of Nebo, North Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Maurice S. Carter; his wife Elsie Marie Gardin Carter; and his children, Gwendolyn and Ronnie Carter. He is survived by: his children, Perry Carter (Carolyn) of Morganton, Teresa Eisenbraun (Russ) of Marion, Tina Carter (Scott) of Morganton, Robert Carter of Morganton, Joyce Carter of Nebo and Gary Carter of Nebo; his grandchildren, Amanda, Angela, Alaric, Karl, Heather and Starr; his stepgrandson Dwight; and his great grandchildren, Rowan, Rayna and Leland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for funeral expenses to go to Teresa Eisenbraun at 135 Toney Road, Marion, NC 28752.
