He was predeceased by: his father John Loftis of Washington; his granddaughter Chloe Grace Loftis; and his siblings, Herbert Eugene Loftis, Terry Carroll Loftis, Sylvia Ann Rose and Iva Marie Hill.
He is survived by: his son Jerry Christopher Loftis (Traci); his siblings, John Lawrence Loftis (Pat), Lemuel "Bo" Loftis (Libby) and Doris Loftis Robinson; and his nephew Terry Loftis. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a grand dog and two grand cats.
