He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jaynes Vess; his daughter Tina Yamada (Seiya) of Orlando, FL; his stepchildren, Renee Sowder of Cartersville, GA, Sandra Rader of Lithia Springs, GA and Richard Rader (Brandie) of Marion; his grandchildren, Sophie Yamada, Lindsey Burdett (Merritt), Brittany Boone (Michael), Loren Brown, Abbie Kitchen (Tate) and Maggie Rader; his great grandchildren, Tucker Burdett, Raden Schell, Alexa Schell, Aylee Burdett, Aeribelle Burdett, Addalyn Boone, June Brown and Rose Brown; and his nieces, Tracy Walker (Gary), Toni Hetzel (Rick) and Terri Fisher (Matthew).
