He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallie Homer Cain and Mary Florence Anthony Cain; and his nephew Michael Piercy. He is survived by: his sisters, Pamela Cain Pike (Thomas), Debra Cain Harwood (Bruce) and Tonya Cain Hargrave (Trevor). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
