We bid farewell to Darlene Smoot of Nebo, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Darlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Eunice Leone Lavoie (McNeil); her husband Bill Smoot; her father Arthur Lavoie; and her great grandchild Blaze Smoot. She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Bettina Smoot) of Nebo, NC., Doug Smoot (Debbie Snyder) of Clifton, KS. and Reggie (Bobbie Smoot) of Lincolnton, NC.; and her sisters, Elaine Cyr of Clyde, KS. and Brenda Pilcher of Salina, KS.
