He is survived by: his sister Peggy Arrowood Abernathy of Raleigh; his nieces, Michelle Revis Pittman of Hickory and Jennifer Abernathy Breece of Franklinton; his nephew Jeffrey Todd Revis of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his granddaughter Heather Arrowood of Marion, NC..
