With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Gilbert (Nebo, North Carolina), who passed away on May 21, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, O. C. Gilbert and Agnes Ferguson Gilbert; his wife Diane Boylen Gilbert; his son Daniel Shawn Gilbert; his great grandchild Arian Welch; and his brother Dennis Joe Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Proffitt, Jerry Swann (Jennifer) and Joseph Swann (Peggy); and his siblings, Gwen Lowery (Haskel), Randy Gilbert (Linda) and Jim Gilbert. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
