He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ramsey and Macie Edwards Ramsey; his wife Iris Powell Ramsey of Virginia; and his siblings, Wayne, Gene, Donald, Bill Ramsey, Arlene Kimick and Betty Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Warren, Rodney Jordan (Christi) of Lincolnton, Randy Jordan of Morganton and Rev. Debbie Barker (Robert) of Granite Falls; his siblings, James Ramsey (Faye) of Op Alabama, Phillip Ramsey of Valdese, Sandra Causby (Jerry) of Nebo and Elda Tipton of Glenwood; his grandchildren, Candace Pritchard (Brad), Melanie "Lanie" Jordan and Riley Jordan; and his great grandchild Gavin Pritchard.
