It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Searcy Freeman of Nebo, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Felix Freeman; her parents, Julian Searcy and Leona Searcy; and her siblings, Lois, Boyce and Diane.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Freeman (Annette) and Brenda Kelly (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Mandy, Christopher, Bridget (Jerry), Casey (Cole), Chelsea (Brandon) and Cody (Tiffany). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
