She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Sewell Rice, Joseph "Joe" Sewell and Suzanne Sewell; her grandchildren, Kyle Rice, Jeremy Rice, Alex Rice, Branch Sewell, Elizabeth Takla and Beatrice Sewell; her brother James "Jack" Henry Riley; her sister-in-law Jean Riley; her pet Lavender; and also Leigh Sewell. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
