With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Walker of Navassa, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carl is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carl's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bertha Townsend Walker; his children, Dwayne Walker (Sonya) of Raleigh and Tyshion Williams of Miami, FL; and his siblings, Melvin Walker (Rose) and Vivian Bowen (Leon).
Viewing was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Light Pentecostal Bible Ministry (1119 Brooklyn St, Navassa, NC 28451). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
