She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Willis and Lannie Merrick Willis; her husband Joseph Kinston, Jr.; her sons, Maurice and Brian; and her siblings, Alphonza Willis (Lucinda) of Bridgeport and Armour Douthit of Navassa, NC.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gilda Waddell (Charles) of Leland, NC, Deborah Kinston-Chappell of Charlotte, NC and Sheila Kinston of Charlotte, NC.
