He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie G. Moss and Louise Strickland Moss; and his brother Skip Moss. He is survived by: his wife Jenny L. Moss; his siblings, Darrell Moss and Jean M. Pridgen of Rocky Mount; and his niece Janet Joyner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family friends and other extended relatives.
