He was predeceased by: his parents, William Archibald Griffin and Mary Capps Griffin; his wife Adele Parker Griffin; his son William Don Griffin; and his siblings, Lois Griffin Hedgepeth and George Centell Griffin.
He is survived by: his cousin Sue Murray (Kensey); his nephews, Pat Griffin (Melinda) and George Griffin; and his niece Brenda Burns. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
