He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bernice Rivenbark and Lessie Mae Joyner; and his siblings, Billy, Buddy Rivenbark and Ruby Rivenbark Rackley.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Rivenbark Vester (Lee) of Cedar Point and Robby Rivenbark of Rocky Mount; and his sister Lois Coley (Doug) of Nashville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
