Nancy Ward Gurganus Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Ward Gurganus (Nashville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Nancy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nancy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. D. "Moon" Williams and Elsie Alford Williams; and her husbands, Weldon Lancaster, John Harrison and Gene Gurganus.
She is survived by: Becky Harrison Wilford.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (350 N 1st St, Nashville, NC 27856). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
