He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Beard, Sr. and Myrtle Robinson Beard; his sister Susan B. Bunn; and his nephew Mark Beard. He is survived by: his brother Johnny Beard; and his nephews, Chris Beard, Adam Smith, Brandon Bunn and John Bunn.
