He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Rufus and Bessie Manning Strickland; and his siblings, Esther Perkerson and Charlie Rufus "Pete" Strickland, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Glendora Strickland; his children, James Glenn "Jimmy" Strickland (Robin) of Nashville, Jeffrey "Jeff" Strickland (Wendy) of Spring Hope and Robin Strickland Manning (Tim) of Wendell; his siblings, Eugene Strickland and Barbara Davis; his grandchildren, Glenn Strickland (Susanne), Leigh Anne Moody (Josh), Alley Lomeli (Jake), Linda Pearce and Langley Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Page Strickland, Emma Branch, Scarlet Lomeli, Parker Strickland, Harleigh Moody and Sonny Lomeli. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
