She is survived by: her children, Brian Anthony Tate (Lisa), Karla Joyner DeLoach (Furman), Bettie Tate Moquin and Barbara Christine Tate; her grandchildren, James Tate, Michael Joyner, Jaimie Joyner, Kathy DeLoach Moore, Prissy Jenkins, Kathleen DeLoach Wilson and Karlene DeLoach; and her brother Richard Stuart Tharrington Sr.
